Loving Every Minute of It Our random walks The smell of your shirt Our pointless arguments Our deep conversations The great food you make That lizard in your kitchen Your awesome blue sweater That house that looks like a rocking horse That Romeo and Juliet balcony Bumping into you on accident Wanting so badly to hold your hand That tiny dog Our equally amazing minds Those sweet pants Watching shows on your computer Getting in trouble every time I come home Having it all be well worth it Loving every minute of it ~Delaney
Autumn Waltz 1-2-3,1-2-3,Waltz of the fall. Shorter the days, cool winds will call. Seemingly subtle, not, whispers of change. Doing their dances to further the range. Whoosh! Go the skirts of the tired leafed trees. Waiting their chances to dance with the breeze! Waltzing and dancing! On to another show. Racing, spinning, chasing! Still farther they blow! Colors are lost quickly, one by one. Till the very last dance, Will they be done. Breathless the view, Till naked the tree. Second to none, An Autumn Waltz be. L. S. Durante
The Breath of All The breath of one Is the breath of all Rising, Falling… She, the breath of my soul, Is your breath, as well Many cannot see this; Those that can May not wish to admit to it But, knowing we are all One Means she is you, She is me How can I not love her When I am to love all? The love that is spoken of, The love that is Is of the highest level That love that makes you certain God exists That love that makes you feel Complete That love that lets you in on the secret That Eternal Love really does exist And it is as easy as breathing out, And breathing in While you watch your stomach rising, And falling For the breath of one Is the breath of All ~Nagi
The Peach Tree Last night I dreamt we stood naked beneath a peach tree, The tree gave us nourishment when we needed to eat, It kept us dry when the rains threatened to soak us to the bone, It gave us shade when the sun’s rays were more than we could handle, Its branches provided the love of a mother’s arms and the security of a fathers touch, Its leaves gave us a gentle breeze to keep us cool in the heat, and a rhythmic sound to listen to, And if we climbed to the top we could see the majesty of all that stood before us To some the tree may have appeared old, gnarled and weak As though its many years were now taking their toll, To us the tree stood tall, strong and proud Unrelenting against the elements, unrequited in its beauty, For us the unselfish tree gave us something different Something that most would never come to realize, The tree gave us respect with its silent stillness, Allowing us to intertwine our souls by looking deep into each others’ eyes, Permitting us to consummate our love without judgment Accepting our being with a grace and fortitude that is only allotted to one so magnificent, A presence that will live on long after we have transitioned from this glorious space, An altruistic creature, always giving, sharing and loving asking nothing in return, Teaching us how to just “be” present for this and every moment, And showing us that the most important lessons of life are learned, Without the utterance of sound
In the midst of Passion My patiently waiting mind has been awakened It’s silence now broken Messages channel through as if on a runaway train I close my eyes and connect to the familiar strands of gold, A certain peace and excitement overcome every fiber of my being, I am feeding my soul, I am nurturing my soul, I am healing my soul, I can imagine my soul.
A Thousand Lifetimes I have listened for a thousand lifetimes, Never hearing another’s words, I have stood for a thousand lifetimes, Never in another’s shoes, I have felt for a thousand lifetimes, Never holding another’s hand, I have wandered for a thousand lifetimes, Never following another’s path, I have watched for a thousand lifetimes, Never seeing another’s soul, I have waited for a thousand lifetimes, To hear your words, To stand by your side, To hold your hand, To walk on our path, To look into your eyes, To see our souls, Together at last for a thousand lifetimes.
Gratitude© Standing here, eyes wide open, Seeing the genuine beauty that surrounds life, Allowing walls that were once seen as protection, to crumble, Releasing pain and anguish that has tried to win every battle, Recognizing truth for the first time, Accepting me for me, and never judging, Forgiving all that came before, Anticipating the next time we will meet, touch, talk and laugh, Feeling strength, warmth and gentleness of hands as they return precious life energy to the body, Relinquishing control in unbridled passion, Thanking Goddess for once again bringing creation into reality, No longer frightened of what may or may not be Embracing the time that is available now, Understanding that the pieces of a soul are finally coming together to heal, I am free, I am peaceful, I am loved, I am whole.
